It is becoming more and more evident that our “leaders” have been unable to manage the war in Afghanistan and equally evident that they have sacrificed the results of the war that was won in Iraq. It would probably be good for current and future U.S. leaders to study the approach used to manage the results of WW II. Another good link is presented below.

Maybe there is something to the possibility of global warming…what a nice Tuesday it was in Plainfield. The snow started melting, the sun was shining and people were smiling. Come to think of it, we had some very nice days back when those easily influenced believed that global cooling was on the way. My Tuesday activities included trips to the credit union and the post office in the early afternoon followed by correspondence with both Brian and Julie. In the evening, I picked up take-out dinner at the Avon American Legion Post. Later, watched Butler lose a basketball game.
