Now funded!!
To date 16 of the projects I have backed were successfully
funded and 2 failed to meet their goal and received no funding. Unfortunately
one of the unfunded efforts was my own “Ireland Is Calling” effort. The plan to
go in September continues: my thanks to friends who have supported my hope.

COMMENTARY: VOTERS FIRST PRESIDENTIAL FORUM
The New Hampshire Union Leader and Saint Anselm College
collaborated on bringing, on CSPAN, a really good introduction to 14 of the
Republican Presidential candidates. Gilmore, Huckabee, and Trump did not
appear. The relatively small attendance was selected by random drawing as was
the appearance sequence of the candidates. My top rated candidates before and
after this forum were and are Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, and Scott Walker. Ted
Cruz, Rand Paul, and Marco Rubio became part of the Forum by a television link
to Washington, D.C. Every candidate was impressive with Bobby Jindal, and Rick
Perry advancing the most in my estimation. It will be difficult for the
Thursday night presentation to match this one.

Monday
started with biscuits and gravy at Chick-fil-A then on to a store and the post
office. Stayed fairly busy at home until I watched the long political program
covered above. I like the Mexican song linked below.
