Linden’s Legacy:

NEW 8-7. Grandaughter Alison”s new cooking blog:

NEW 8-7. Link to my Bless A Stranger project #20:

To date 17 of the projects I have backed were successfully funded and 2 failed to meet their goal and received no funding. Unfortunately one of the unfunded efforts was my own “Ireland Is Calling” effort. The plan to go in September continues: my thanks to friends who have supported my hope.

Check Linden Swift at amazon.com to view his 3 print books and 7 Kindle E-books. Two of the print books each contain 3 of the Kindle books. Sowing Seeds of Faith is his most recent and is available both as a print book and as an E-book. Please check them out when looking for new reads or gifts.

COMMENTARY: WISH I HAD WRITTEN THE LINKED ARTICLE
Since it really needed to be written by a black writer there is no way I could do such a good job. Lloyd Marcus is truly gifted. Read it.

MOSTLY ABOUT ME       lswift8@aol.com
Friday started with the Men’s Prayer Breakfast then walked about a mile and three quarters and picked up my mail. Harlene came by and sewed buttons on a shirt and a pair of trousers. Bless her. She mentioned that she and Peggy had lunch at Taco Bell so, after she left, I, for the first time in months went to Taco Bell also. Later I bought some underclothes and a coffeemaker.
On Saturday Sam joined me for breakfast at the Legion Post. Marsha was also there and she had made me some oxtail soup, Ratatouille, and a loaf of bread: looks like I’ll eat this week. Sam and I went by to check on the construction of the new Post: lookin’ good. Shirley had sent some coffee and tomatoes with Sam. Later, I picked up my mail and went to a grocery.
Sunday brought church and Sunday school attendance followed by brunch with friends. Not active at all the rest of the day.
The scenes shown along with the song linked below are very nice.

REMEMBER

The democrats brought you Obamacare.
Obama, Reid, and Pelosi lead the forces of evil.
Hate crime laws should be overturned.
Baseline budgeting is a taxpayer insult.
Carly answers questions: Hillary does not.
SCOTUS: undeserving of respect.
