To date 17 of the projects I have backed were successfully funded and 2 failed to meet their goal and received no funding. Unfortunately one of the unfunded efforts was my own “Ireland Is Calling” effort. The plan to go in September continues: my thanks to friends who have supported my hope.

Friday I had a long phone visit with Julie before going to Danville for my 10:40 appointment with Dr. Suh. Talked with Brian later.

Saturday I walked a mile then went to the writers group meeting. Back home, did a load of wash and watched two televised horse races: had I been betting, I would have won a few dollars on the second race.

Sunday brought church and Sunday school attendance. Had two friends drop by for visits in the afternoon. Later I corresponded with Brian.
