COMMENTARY: THE ESTABLISHMENT:
I was very busy at home during the day but had
the radio on to the Rush Limbaugh Show while I was otherwise
occupied. If I understood his message, he was saying in a very
convincing way that “the establishment” cares about the
Republican party a lot less than they do about themselves and they
desperately want a candidate elected who will not upset their access
to the available campaign dollars. Further, he indicated that neither
Cruz or Trump is acceptable to the establishment. Therefore, it seems
that a thinking voter will vote for Cruz or Trump and not waste their
vote on any other person who appears on the ballot. My personal
choice is Cruz but since a candidate should be selected by voters
rather than the establishment, accepting Trump would not be a problem
for me.
