As most of you surely know, these lame duck sessions
almost certainly the most dangerous to the well being of the tax
paying public. Any effort by any politician to limit the damage
should be appreciated. You may appreciate the linked article.

Thursday started with breakfast
with the guys at 8:00 and was followed by the monthly Golden Glows
pitch-in luncheon at which I took cream filled rolls. The speaker was
my favorite funny man David Wheeler. Should see him again at Johnson
University in about six weeks. Then I took my car to get an oil leak
fixed. Budget breaker. Again.
