My days in the Air Force never included a PCS to Adak although I was close at times. So, I have enough remembrance to really appreciate the article linked below and think it may well illustrate an effective personnel management method.

Thursday started with getting together with the guys for breakfast. I intended to get with Sam for lunch but that didn't work so I stayed home and had a bowl of the wonderful split pea soup that Rich made for lunch.
