Linden intended to have a few additional words at the end of yesterday's fanciful financial disclosure posting: Due to a slight organizational problem, those words did not appear. They were (or are) as follows:
It should be noted that Linden, being unmarried, has no spouse that could serve on corporate boards. So, there is no possibility of bribery through that conduit having any effect on his calling as a political commentator.
It was referenced in conjunction with yesterday's posting trigger article that the wife of Senator Bayh serves on 7 corporate boards. Some of these positions are quite lucrative.

OTHER STUFF
A review of the report by Representative Lynn Westmoreland R-GA at http://westmoreland.house.gov/ revealed that all of the Indiana Republican House members had endorsed his proposal "I will vote to increase U.S. oil production to lower gas prices for Americans." None of the Indiana House democrats had signed on. In fact, of the 183 signers to date, only 2 brave Democrats had signed on.
Would it be fair to say that if you support high gas prices you will vote for democrats? Conversely, would it be equally fair to say that if you oppose high gas prices you will vote Republican? Are you capable of rational thought?

Joined Bob, Carl, Don and Ron for coffee before playing 9 holes of golf with Dennis and Paul. Played a little better than last week (used Paul's old driver) but it is gonna be quite difficult to make the Senior Tour anytime soon. Had a dandy nap later and followed that with some irritating work on correcting that may appear in my next book.
