SARAH TALKS TURKEY!

Prior to his teenage years, Linden was occasionally called upon to chop off the head of the chicken that was to become the next family meal. This was no big deal for a boy living on a farm. We were meat eaters and animals are almost always killed before they are eaten: It seems the decent thing to do. Vegetables and fruits are not always so fortunate and may be making inaudible “eek!, eek!” sounds as they are being consumed.

Recently a video showed Alaska Governor Sarah Palin pardoning one of the turkeys at a turkey farm near her home. This pardoning is not unusual in the political realm. Her words were fitting for the occasion. In the video background a farm worker started the process of preparing two of the birds for the table.

The video stirred several comments from some newscasters and some of the phony “society leaders” who specialize in attempting to cast the Governor in a bad light. One must wonder how these same people view the reality of babies exiting the birth canal being torn to bits. Again and again and again.

Linden has no idea regarding the plan behind the shooting of the turkey video but he does hope that part of the plan was to cast light on the shallow thinking of “the enlightened ones.”

LINDEN'S LIFE:
On Tuesday he joined two friends for coffee and then drove to downtown Indianapolis to take care of some business. The rest of the day was even less eventful.
