OBAMA TO CONGRESS + BOBBY JINDAL

The speech was well written and, as usual, Obama read it well. It may have contained some areas that were not entirely truthful… but, speechwriters are not commonly known for their honesty.

Nothing in the speech caused Linden to think that his tax contributions will be well spent. Nothing caused him to think that those who follow him will benefit from this administration. Looking at the democrat tax cheaters failed to inspire confidence. The attitude and action of those in Congress was juvenile. So, overall it was a waste.

Mitch McConnell, R-KY, was quoted as saying “All Americans were proud eyewitnesses to history as an African-American President addressed a joint session of Congress for the first time. Linden is not that easily influenced.

Bobby Jindal spoke well enough but he does not generate a fraction of the excitement of Obama. He does, however, make more sense. One has to wonder what Sarah Palin would have done with that opportunity: Surely she would have mentioned Chris Dodd and Barney Frank and their involvement in creating this crisis. Linden would be more comfortable with either Jindal or Palin in the oval office.
