I HOPE IT WAS COLD IN NYC

Linden, having finished reading the paper, turned to his favorite news source: Talk radio. Two or three items were presented which were of interest. It appeared that print media was either unaware or uninterested in them.

Talk radio indicated that our new president was not met with complete approval in New York City, Chicago and in Arizona. It seems that he was even laughed at while speaking at a high school.

The most interesting, to Linden, was the report that perennial racist agitator Al Sharpton had organized a protest in front of a New York City newspaper to call attention to a cartoon that he may have misunderstood. Of course, the possibility exists that he merely wanted to call attention to himself and did not misunderstand at all.

The cartoon shows two policemen standing over a chimp that has been shot. One is saying, “They’ll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill.” Those who are “offended” say that they think the chimp represents Obama. They are apparently unaware that Pelosi and Reid wrote this last monstrosity so the bill must represent one of them. How smart are those who pretend to be offended?? Linden hopes that it was very cold in New York City as they protested.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
We had our usual Thursday breakfast meeting and Jack, walking with a cane, made it there. Good time, as always. I finished a small write-up I have been preparing for a veterans related effort and also made a small effort in relation to a question/answer web site we hope to develop.
