A REMINDER

It has been several days since Linden told you about the email he received from Bob & Barbara which had originated with their niece, Diane Hubbard. It was concerned with the Indianapolis Tea Party. After several attempts to copy and paste and all that sort of thing, Linden gave up and is writing his own invitation. Of a sort.

A large and growing segment of the population is becoming increasingly concerned about the direction our country is headed in several areas. It is time, no, it is past time to demonstrate against the leadership? We are receiving from the Washington, D.C. crowd. It should be noted that the Republican minority in Congress have been vocal in their opposition. Linden sincerely regrets that his physical strength dictates that he will not be able to join in this public outcry. Click on the address below to see a well designed flyer.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Friday: As usual, attended the Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00 – it felt earlier than that. Did the usual minor tasks and running - no, make that driving around Plainfield. Continued reviewing material for my next writing effort.

Saturday: Attended the 7:30 Men’s Prayer Breakfast at Kingsway church. Continued writing effort and fielded several phone calls. This included a long and very enjoyable one from Pete and Lisa in Maine.

Sunday: Church, Sunday school, brunch with friends, read the paper, listened to music and watched just a bit of TV. In the evening, heard an interesting presentation regarding a mission trip to India taken by a young woman. I thought she was a young girl but she mentioned her ten year old daughter. It rained like crazy today.

ADVERTISEMENT 2:
Linden’s book “AN OLD MAN ON THE ST. JAMES WAY” ($6.95) addresses Linden’s thoughts and activities when, as a 75 year old, he crosses Northern Spain on the ancient pilgrimage trail.

“BOUT FIRTEEN COUNTRY CHILDERN RIMES” ($3.00) reminiscent of James Whitcomb Riley, these 20 poems with illustrations address the lives of four-year-old twins. It is written as they may speak.

Now that Linden’s 2009 sales have financed two goats for some of the needy in the world, his next goal is to fund the purchase of a water buffalo. Order at:
