SOCIAL GROUPS UPDATED

Because of the really shameful recent actions by the majority of those “serving” in Congress and by our woefully inadequate President in regard to their caterwauling about AIG employees accepting bonus payments to which they are legally entitled and to which the aforementioned Congress and President specifically authorized by their passage and signing of the “stimulus” bill, Linden is readdressing Social Groups. Specifically, he is presenting the “Battalion of the Bewildered. At present, this is most highly regarded of this tiresome threesome.

SOCIETY OF SHAME: At present, all congressional democrats are shown in this lowest of social groups. It is remotely possible that they could be elevated to another group.

LEGION OF LAXITY:
Those listed here are less contemptible than those in the group shown above but, at present, are deserving of a Conservative opponent in their next primary election.Because of their assistance in passing the “stimulus” bill, present members of this group are Republicans Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania.

BATTALION OF THE BEWILDERED:
Most commonly these are democrats who have failed to mature mentally or Republicans who have not evidenced the capability of putting their never-ending obligation to serve ahead of their strong desire to be re-elected. Present members are:
Each one of the 85 republicans who voted to impose additional taxes on certain AIG employee.
The six democrats who opposed this unfair and probably unconstitutional taxing. They have been promoted from the Society of Shame.
Promotions and demotions are conditional.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Friday: Men’s Prayer Breakfast at my church at 6:00. Having awakened at 3:30, I was a deadhead all day. Started actively planning my next book.
Saturday: Men’s Prayer Breakfast at Kingsway church at 7:30. Avon Writers Group at 10:00 – did some interesting writing exercises. Listened to the beautiful Bellini opera La Sonnabula in the afternoon.
Sunday: Attended church and Sunday school services. Another day in which I was feeling less than perfect. John asked me to say a few words about my “two goats” funding project – that was nice and Dave said he and Sandy are enjoying my most recent book and my CD. Sure hope sufficient sales develop to enable me to fund a water buffalo. They will! Friend and former co-worker, Brenda, called: She is now having troublesome times. Attended evening services at my church.
