IT WAS NOT A BUSH BILL

President Obama was quoted as saying something to the effect that Congress had sent him a final part of last year’s budget bill. In effect, he was saying that last year’s democrat Congress had failed to complete their work while President Bush was still in office. Not surprising for this bunch of duds! In no way can this monstrosity be laid at the feet of President Bush.

Funding the remaining portion of this fiscal year could have and should have been accomplished by a series of continuing resolutions. This would have been easy, held the spending to last year’s level and would not have included those disgraceful earmarks. Has there ever been a democrat in office who was not in favor of wasting taxpayer money??

Let’s see, President Obama said he would not accept earmarks: Kyle-Anne Shiver says it best – “Obama lied; hope died.” See her March 11 American Thinker piece entitled “Voters’ Obama Folly Coming Home to Roost.”

Those listed here are less contemptible than those in the group shown above but, at present, are deserving of a Conservative opponent in their next primary election.
Because of their assistance in passing the “stimulus” bill, present members of this group are Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe of Maine and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania.

BILLIONS:

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Had the Study Buddy session at 9:00 and then made the long drive to see my heart doctor: I do not enjoy driving as much as I once did. My blood pressure was 110/60, pulse rate 46 and weight 190. He was pleased enough with my health and my next appointment with him will be next year. I hope. I may start exercising one of these days.
Back home, Laura called as she was driving through the town of Linden. I don’t remember ever being there although I have been close. Laura painted a good verbal picture of the watertower with the name LINDEN on it. I would like to have a picture of it appear on this blog. In the evening, dinner and program at my church.
