ANXIETY
Linden is too nearly depressed to present a posting concerning those who are obligated to represent us well in our nation’s capital.
On Wednesday, while looking at tax filing information, he noticed that the balance in his IRA account was just about one half as much as it had been just one year earlier. The majority of the decline occurred after the democrats selected Barack Obama to be their presidential candidate.
Linden realizes that he is only one of the millions who have been adversely affected by the bad choice made by the voters last November. But, that is small comfort as he considers the possibility many of his age of, with severely limited funds, coming to depend on others who are only slightly better off.
Linden remembers the depression of the late 1930’s.

Met Chuck and Jack for breakfast at 8:00 and another friend for lunch at 11:30. Enjoyed both get-togethers. The rest of the day just got away from me.
