APPREHENSION:
There was not sufficient time on Thursday to allow for in depth attention to today’s subjects. So, here is a thumbnail sketch:
Hearing just a bit of the daily Rush Limbaugh presentation, Linden can not help but wonder what the foreign nations that Obama is attempting to dazzle really think of some (Linden) regards as an infantile presentation.

It is not comforting to hear that some democrat members of Congress are threatening Republicans in their next election effort if they do not toe the line and vote to confirm Sonia Sotomayor. Should not even the democrats have valid concerns regarding her suitability for a seat on the Supreme Court?

On the bright side, congratulations are due Indiana State Treasurer Richard Mourdock for his efforts to force the Chrysler bailout disaster to treat bondholders more fairly.

Once again, on the dark side, Indiana democrat special session lawmakers are in the process of creating a difficult atmosphere in regard to Governor Daniels effort to inject some responsibility into facing the budget shortfall.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Had another in a long string of enjoyable Thursday morning breakfast meetings: Paul was absent. Having not slept well the previous night, Linden was a deadhead all day. Sharon, as always, is Editor Supreme in regard to her review of what I expect to be my next book. I do my laundry in the Mission House and almost stepped on a snake as I went in the first time: saw it again as I came out. First snake seen since moving onto the property almost three years ago.
