PERSPECTIVE:
Sometime within the day, Linden heard or read that 64% of the respondents to a poll approved of the Obama’s trip to New York on a “date.” Having not acquired further, definitive, information, Linden is not aware of whether or not the same percentage of respondents favored the use of three planes and two helicopters.

If we believe that roughly 50% of the people pay no income tax, we really should not include the thinking of this segment in any poll results. After all, it matters little to them how much taxpayer money is wasted. If we take away this non-paying 50%, then, we find that 72% of the people must be opposed to this blatant waste of taxpayer money. We can only pray that the other 28% come to their senses.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Alabama Sharon sent me edited copies of some of my writing. Bless her! Saw Danville Sharon at Senior Services, she furnished me with information regarding a meeting. Terry Ward sent me two pictures from those he and Katherine took while they were in Austria. I attended an Indy Defenders of Liberty meeting in the evening. Unfortunately, I started feeling less than perfect and left after being there only about two hours. It was a group of maybe 200 “Tea Party” type people who are concerned with the direction our country is being led. Appeared to be a good, well-led group.
Although there were some Libertarians present, representatives of the two major parties did not identify themselves. My personal concern with the group is its focus on being nonpartisan. A person who is concerned and aware only needs to look at from whence the drive to bankrupt our country is coming and it is difficult to not be partisan. Granted, the Republicans could attempt to be much more vocal and confrontational but it is from them that any opposition comes. Linden believes that those political leaders who do not have the best interest of the taxpayer at heart should be identified and everybody should oppose them. Some others should remain in office for a limited time.
