On page four of the August 15 Indianapolis Star appeared these words: “Right now,” Obama said this week, “we have a health-care system that too often works better for the insurance industry that it does for the American people.”

On this page on August 17 Linden writes these words: “Right now,” Linden wrote, “we have a political system in our nation’s capital that too often works better for the professional politicians that it does for the American taxpaying public.”

LINDEN'S LIFE:
On Friday, attended the early morning Men’s Prayer Breakfast. Visited several business places and, as is true in the following days, worked some on the board game I’m interested in.
Saturday brought another prayer breakfast at Kingsway; Hal Blank spoke on a charity air ambulance service www.graceonwings.org it was interesting. It was also good to hear that Lindsay has returned to his old job. Later, at our Avon Writers Group meeting, we reviewed some of the writings submitted for our next book.
Sunday brought church services and Sunday school. I had slept so poorly that I didn’t go out for brunch. Did little the rest of the day.
