Linden, as is true of Lou Pritchett, has memories of thirteen men who have been President of The United States. Some he found to be woefully deficient, some were admirable, and most tried hard to perform the job to the best of their ability. LINDEN'S LIFE:
What a great day!!!
I drove about 180 miles round trip to Richmond to pick up my latest book: PRAYERS ANSWERED AT HAUS EDELWEISS. I had feared that I would not feel up to the trip but it did not go too badly. This was the eighth book published by my small and highly unsuccessful publishing company and the seventh that I have written. Tears often came to my eyes as I reviewed it after returning home. Augustin performed the printing services very well and Sharon, as usual, did a masterful editing job.

Then, when I picked up my mail there was a check from Human Events as payment for a captioning contest I had won. Since I combine that type of income, donations, and a percentage of the book sales income to, through IDES, provide something for the less fortunate, I can now donate enough to provide a water buffalo. You may remember that we caused two goats to be sent to Haiti some months ago. More info on this effort will follow at a later date. Great day!!!
