RESPONSIBLE REPRESENTATION:
It appears to Linden that Republicans in general and Conservatives in particular are approaching the point where they will demand that their representatives and other “leaders” fulfill their duty to the taxpaying public by being responsible representatives of those who pay their wages and benefits. There are even signs that some who prior to the present disaster did not associate themselves with the above mentioned political beliefs, are presently disillusioned.

Linden is considering the development of a rating system for those who “serve.” Naturally, at this point, all democrats, because of their blind support of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama, will be at the bottom of this rating system. It is possible that some “Blue Dogs” will rate more highly but, to this point, they have fallen in line with the three named above rather consistently.

So, the rating system will look primarily at Republicans. They will be awarded, and deservedly so, negative ratings for at least these flaws: voting at all if they or their staff has not read or evaluated a bill that is brought before them; support for bailouts starting in 2008; support of Cap and Trade legislation; support of the criminal takeover of the auto companies; support of governmental takeover of the healthcare system, support for tax cheats in any governmental position; and support for placing Sonia Sotomayor on the Supreme Court.

This list may be added to but it seems like a pretty good place to start. In that vein, please check the following link: Nancy J. Thorner, a Republican Precinct Committeeman, seems to think a lot like Linden. This link will be added to the ones kept for a few days: they appear below.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Surely the high point of the day was not Linden’s attempt to play golf in the morning hours. He lost three balls within the first three holes and, later, lost his seven iron. Fortunately, it later reappeared. Linden was tired enough after this experience that he napped and rested extensively the rest of the day.
