TOO MUCH TO DO:
Of course Linden knows this is a lame excuse for being so poorly organized that when it came time to write the contents of today’s posting his mind simply failed to engage. Knowing that my readers are both understanding and forgiving helps a great deal.

Since my readers also know that Linden is more than a little favorably impressed with Sarah Palin, it will surprise them not at all when she becomes the subject of another posting this day.

Linden has already said that we will probably not have a worthwhile clue as to what direction her life will take until after July 26 so, we will perhaps treat you to thoughts of other, more gifted writers. One of those will not be a piece by Kathleen Parker!

LINDEN'S LIFE:
I slept so poorly in the middle portion of my time in bed that I refused to get up when the alarm sounded and stayed abed until 8:30! That part was great—had some good dreams too.
I have been trying to straighten up my really messy upstairs lately and worked up there quite a while today. I would often interrupt my work to read things I found interesting. Some were interesting and others quite sad.
I intended to fix spaghetti and meatballs for my dinner but switched to a TV dinner. My toaster-oven decided to fail me so I used the microwave.
Kent called to say that his doctor appointment went well: he will not be able to drive until about the first of the months when he will see his heart surgeon. He is doing spectacularly well.
