UNEMPLOYMENT:
Was it only about six months ago that the Obama leadership team was preaching that if the stimulus was enacted the unemployment rate would not exceed eight percent and that if it were not enacted, despite all his good efforts, it would rise to nine percent?

Thursday evening news reported that the unemployment rate has risen to nine and one half percent (as you know, the stimulus bill was enacted.) Last month, almost one half million more workers lost their job!

To you who voted for him—how long before you admit that voting for Obama was a mistake?

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Attended the Thursday morning breakfast meeting—all five of us were present. I really enjoy these meetings. They are such a good bunch of guys. Helen, Jack’s wife, got another less than good report from one of her doctors. Feel free to pray for her.
I tried to call Julie and failed, exchanged emails with Brian and others, and talked to Joyce. Got the place almost ready for Sandi to clean while I am at Men’s Prayer Breakfast.
