WAR, SLUSH, AND BLUE DOGS:
A recent bill, with the support of Obama, Pelosi et al, went sailing through the House recently. Since it was not in the best interest of the American taxpayer, this is hardly stunning news. What Linden thinks is stunning is that this same American taxpayer is oblivious to the “representation” their tax dollars buys.
This bill, purportedly a war spending supplemental bill, is really a mechanism for shoveling dollars that the American taxpayer has borrowed, probably from the Chinese, to some foreign interests that are not necessarily concerned about these same American taxpayers.
Included in Linden’s disappointment with this bill is that all of the Indiana democrat “Representatives”, some posing as “Blue Dog” democrats, voted for this robbery of the American taxpayer. These Indiana democrats are Carson, Donnelly, Ellsworth, Hill and Visclosky. Remember to donate to their future opponents.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Tuesday brought the usual household related running around, a long and very pleasant brunch with a friend and the purchase of two rubber ducks as entries in the annual Chamber of Commerce July fourth duck race. Received a couple of funny emails from Brian and enjoyed the smoked oysters and crackers he had sent for my dinner.
