NOT VERY POLITICAL:
With the Obama family being overseas and no recent news coming to Linden regarding the Reid and Pelosi disaster team, Linden feels almost secure—until he remembers who the Vice-President is. That said, he will move on to the general subject of pride in the military.

Our monthly “Golden Glows” luncheon meeting at my church recognized the military veterans in attendance—and there were a bunch of us, and, after a wonderful pitch-in meal, presented a program by Tom Casalini which focused, through stories and pictures, on Medal of Honor Recipients. It was truly great!

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Bill, Chuck, Jack, Paul, and I were all present for our weekly breakfast meeting. As usual, it was very enjoyable. Following that, we had our “Golden Glows” meeting as referenced above. After this meeting, Jack came by my place to hook up my most recent TV antenna purchase—it seemed to not improve the picture and he said that a part was missing. So, I’ll exchange it and perhaps we will try again soon. Paul came while Jack was here: he and Judy gave me a toaster-oven to replace the one that died yesterday. I am blest! Had an email from Julie: they had enjoyed their vacation in New York and after they arrived back home, Jade walked, unsteadily, across the room. How quickly they grow!
