CALL FOR INFORMANTS:
Linden has made no effort to verify the writing by Jeff Emanuel which appeared in Red State that reported that the White House is attempting to identify those talkers or writers who are at odds with the direction provided by its best known occupant. Linden will be on that list—if there actually is such a list.

With the country being blest by the House taking a long vacation, the Senate and the President preparing to do the same, one has to feel safer than if they were actually “at work.”

LINDEN'S LIFE:
It was raining like crazy with high winds and much lightning but Linden drove to Indianapolis to meet Sam for lunch. The power was off at our usual meeting place so we developed a plan B and, although a little damp, had an enjoyable lunch. I had Pad Thai and I believe he went for cashew chicken.

Back home, I had a nice nap (I’m still kinda wiped out,) had a call from Brian (Alison is starting soccer practice,) and, later, Paul and Judy brought me some food: I’ll have it tomorrow.
