LINDEN'S LIFE:
Friday: Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00. Thanks to a lucky chain of events involving Jack, I bought a new TV. Another lucky event resulted in Brenda, our Secretary before I retired, joining me as we celebrated Thuc’s birthday at a nice restaurant. 13 years after I retired and we are still friends.

Saturday: Went early to join Bill & Larry in an outside book signing event held in conjunction with a parade. It was freezing cold and I came home early because of severe back pain. A nap and heat alleviated it somewhat. Jack came over to set up the TV.

Sunday: Morning, church, Sunday school, brunch with friends. Watched a football game and had evening church services. Jill Shaw, a missionary we help to support in New Zealand, was the guest speaker. She is really impressive. Friend Joyce called in the afternoon—she goes to Central America soon.
