TILTING AT WINDMILLS:
Linden spends very little time praising any of the democrats: the reason is simple—they almost always are not worthy of praise. Condemnation, maybe but praise—almost never. This posting will depart slightly from this practice.

Zell Miller, the former U.S. Senator from Georgia, has always impressed Linden as being a thoughtful man of principle. It is unfortunate for our country that persons such as him are in such short supply among the democrats who are currently “serving” in Congress.

It is quite possible that in the early days of commentary posting, Linden did mention Zell Miller but memory is faulty. What Linden is sure of is that he has long supported the thought Senator Miller outlined in regard to the 17th amendment as is mentioned in the link below.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
It was just another in a long series of days where I accomplished less that I intended when the day started. Intended to do a couple loads of wash but allowed that intention to die unfulfilled. Did visit the credit union and went to a store and purchased a new cutter for my electric razor—it now does a better job. Also saw my auto mechanic and scheduled some maintenance for next Monday. I have a hard time accepting the fact that I really have to do almost nothing. You may wish to check the links toward the end of this posting and check on reports from Kisses from Katie.
