REGARDING RACISM:
There has been much talk lately correlating criticism of some of Obama’s desires with racism. Bills supported by the administration are often judged by we conservatives to be detrimental to the traditions and constitution which has successfully guided our country since it’s beginning. To cast these judgments as being racially motivated is more than an injustice! When the news media is responsible for this, they are being worse than incompetent.

Should not the black gang attacks on lone white teenagers in Buffalo, NY and Belleville, IL be given the same level of news coverage as was the falsely charged Duke lacrosse team not all that long ago. To not grant it the same type of coverage is a failure to fulfill the responsibility of the profession.

Did President Obama lie when speaking to Congress? Many say that he did and, if so, what can possibly be racist about saying the man is untruthful?

The focus on race has been largely pursued by democrats and the question remains—is this focus to divert attention from those bills which should never become law? That may be the case with our nut-case former President, Carter.

Only Jack and I were present for our Thursday breakfast meeting—still enjoyable. Later in the day I had a wonderful surprise visit from Madonna and Judy. It was great to see them—Madonna now lives in Arizona and Judy just South of Indy.
