CATCHING UP:
Since Linden almost always prepares his posting the evening before it is actually posted, he was not yet aware of the two 9-11 pieces he is presenting today when he did his 9-11 posting.

The first is another presentation by the talented Kyle-Anne Shiver and the second is a video which contains pictures and a well sung song. The third, in an effort to depart from the somber thoughts created by the first two pieces, is funny indeed.

Link to great Shiver 9-11 piece: feel free to send the link to the editorial section of your local newspaper. They frequently can not find things like this:

LINDEN'S LIFE:
Friday I attended the Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00 then went to the store, post office, and credit union. Had a wonderful surprise—Brian came by and brought me a new belt and a beautiful coat. We each napped in the recliners before he headed for Bloomington.

Saturday I worked on my board game project for a while then went to the Indiana State Police Pioneers meeting with Jack Burlison and Jim Peva. Had a good time and ate good food. Was tired when I arrived home in late evening.

Sunday brought church services and Sunday school. Shortly after I returned home Brian came by—his rugby reunion left him stiff and sore but not really injured—his neck hurt because his head had been forced into the ground while he was under a pile of players and he was kicked in the head once. Otherwise he was ok. We went to an Irish pub and had an Irish breakfast. Really good! We then napped in the recliners and he headed back to Ohio. Called about six hours later to say he made it in good shape and was not overtired. I love to see my kids.
