LISTEN HARD!!!
In recent days Linden has heard many complaints that the Republicans are doing nothing, saying nothing and are accepting of whatever the democrats put before them. Rubbish!! These complainers forget or fail to grasp just how hard it is for the minority party to make progress legislatively and the disadvantage that the highly biased main stream media puts them in.

LATE (OR EARLY) BREAKING:
It appears that the Republicans won the gubernatorial elections in New Jersey and Virginia. The news appears to be not so good in the New York District 23 race and Linden found no early morning news regarding California District 10.

I took my recyclables to Kent’s container, went to the post office and then had biscuits and gravy at Chick-fil-A. John came by in the afternoon to discuss the goldfish pond—we had coffee and a nice long talk. I did a load of wash and noticed that Ray had fixed the defective porch light at the Mission House. Sometime during the day I found time to send the following message to the Indianapolis Star:

Dear Editor,
It is possible that the "Obama's Quick Start" column by Eugene Robinson which appeared in your November 3 issue is not a new low for your editorial page. After all, his chief competitor for worst of the worst is Ken Bode.
