TEA PARTYERS ARISE!
In the roughly two and one half years that Linden has spent attempting to educate you through this blog, he has, on more than one occasion, mentioned the failure of the Republican Party to field a candidate against an entrenched democrat. It is a disgraceful record of ceding almost ten percent of the House to the Forces of Evil. Surely it is better to have a less than stellar candidate who is also underfunded than to have no candidate at all.
Appearing below is what is believed to be the current status of those 39 Districts scattered across 19 States that Linden shows as being uncontested in 2008. Since total accuracy is doubtful, certainly the information is easily verifiable at the local level. The State, District(s), and Republican candidate information is shown.

Only Jack and myself at the morning breakfast meeting. Expect the other guys next week. The Golden Glows had their usual great pitch-in luncheon. The lane back to my house was passable enough that I parked there tonight.

GOOD WORKS
Thanks to those who purchased books or a CD or donated to the effort, we were able in 2009 to provide, through IDES, two goats, a water buffalo, and a fishing boat with net to needy families in third world countries.
In 2010 we will diversify our good works. New recipients are:
