We all knew that it is possible (and highly desirable) to draft a healthcare bill that contains less than 2,300 pages. Ann Coulter in the article linked immediately below presents a one page sample which addresses almost everything desirable except for tort reform. Surely tort reform could be covered in less than 2,299 pages. Her approach would involve no taxpayer cost.

We all (excluding nut cases) hoped that a move would be made to question the constitutionality of the healthcare bills now under consideration. Apparently our hope will be realized. See link below. H/T Chuck

Bill had returned from The Ukraine so there were four of us for our enjoyable breakfast meeting. Tried to get my address straightened out with the post office. The wonderful Katia sent me two more Kringles (one raspberry and one pecan) from the O & H Danish bakery in Racine, WI… www.ohdanishbakery.com
Katia is one of the many blessings a loving God sends my way.
I watched Butler win their first NCAA tournament game this season.
Starting Monday thru Easter I plan on connecting my usual music link to a song of a religious nature. I already know that you will enjoy them.

GOOD WORKS
Thanks to those who purchased books or a CD or donated to the effort, we were able in 2009 to provide, through IDES, two goats, a water buffalo, and a fishing boat with net to needy families in third world countries.
In 2010 we will diversify this area of our good works. New recipients are:
January, TCM, Austria, ministry scholarship. http://www.tcmi.org/
February, local need, not part of original plan.
February, Hillsdale College. www.hillsdale.edu
The Book Nook, 33 E. Main, Mooresville is a local source of Linden’s books and CD.
