AN OBLIGATION
In the Andrew Breitbart video linked below he says, “we have an obligation to fight back”. Linden could not agree more! Just as we have an obligation to serve when we are at war and a draft is instituted, we have an obligation to attempt to counteract those forces of evil that too often are directing the affairs of our country.

Although Linden has at least two friends who do not totally (maybe even partially) agree with the thrust of three of the postings he made last week. In them, he chided the Republicans for not having an opponent for some of the democrats who are running for Congressional seats. Their argument being that races that are destined to be lost should not drain assets from where a better chance of victory is believed to exist.

Linden’s argument is that these hoped for campaigns need not be well funded at all, thusly not draining resources. Further, he believes that the forces for good have an OBLIGATION to ensure that some voice needs to be provided for each person within a District who approves not at all with the liberal bent of the named incumbents.

LINDEN'S LIFE
On Friday I attended Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00 and at 11:00 was at church for the Dale Freeman funeral. I had never before been to a funeral exactly like it…it was a celebration of his life. His six children sang or led the congregation in several songs. They were great! Later, in an exchange of emails with Julie, she told me not to expect her and/or Brian or, for that matter, their Mother to be singing at my funeral. Guess I’ll have to revise my plans.
Saturday brought a writers group meeting, which I left early, and a Tea Party presentation of ten of the thirteen candidates for the Fourth District Congressional seat. It was well done. In the evening a group of singers from Milligan College presented a music program at church. It was very good.
Sunday brought church services and Sunday school in the morning and services again in the evening.
