JUST DO SOMETHING
As Linden scoured the news and commentary sources Wednesday with the hope of finding a subject he could present to you with his own perspective, almost everything he read or heard presented a very dim view of the current state of our country.

Then, the two following links came to his attention and the idea that if we would all do something, just a little, we may be able to turn the tide on this national tragedy the Obama regime has cursed us with. Surely a word to a friend, a contribution to a conservative candidate, a letter to the editor, or any one of a number of small tasks is not too much to ask of yourself. There is a huge reward to be won.

LINDEN'S LIFE
Once again I took a short walk in the cool of the morning before reading the paper. The walk was better than the paper. Talked to Ruth a bit…so far they are enjoying being back in the U.S. Later, picked up my mail and also got a haircut. Julie e-mailed me from England right after the funeral of her mother-in-law…I know they will be happy to return to the Chicago area. Later, Brian called: his daughter, Alison, is scheduled to return home from California this coming Sunday. I hope I get to see them before school starts. It is hard to believe that she will be a high school freshman this year.

I have been particularly pleased with the four music links I’ve presented for your approval so far this week. I hope you clicked on them. I believe I had never heard of Priscilla Herdman until last week, she has such a clear beautiful voice. I had hoped to find a link to “The Water Lily” by her but still have never heard it by her. The group that I linked to on Monday performed it well. I wonder if anybody will ever hear me singing one of my songs and wish they could hear more. I think not…the talent as a songwriter and as a singer does not merit such a blessing.
