RATS AND A SINKING SHIP
Linden believes that he has read that rats will attempt to desert a ship when they feel it is in danger of sinking. In like manner, now that Congress has taken another break, this time until after the election, the democrats are abandoning their association with Obama and those others who they joined in doing great damage to our country. They failed in more respects than will be enumerated here today.

LINDEN'S LIFE
In relation to today’s music link: following my 19th birthday in January of that year, I continued working as a not overly well paid truck driver and seeing more of the girl that I had started dating the prior year. We married in September: she was 17. I had not a clue about being head of a household…this included budgeting and such things. What a dummy! My Mother died the following month. In later years I deeply regretted not being closer to her.

We had our usual very pleasant Thursday breakfast meeting…all five of us were present. Later, I went to the post office, to two stores, a bakery and stopped by the church for a few minutes. Dan and Diana dropped by my place shortly after I returned home. When I talked to Julie, I told her of a CD that would make a nice Christmas gift for me. She found it on the Internet while we talked. I also received a notification that my September 16 blog posting contained what is thought to be a copyright violation. I could find no evidence of that but the posting has been removed, at least temporarily. I requested further information.
