HEBREWS

There is some uncertainty regarding the authorship of Hebrews but it is widely believed to have been authored by Paul, probably from Rome and prior to A.D. 70.

The primary purpose of the writing appears to be an attempt to strengthen the faith of the Christians who may be tempted to return to Judaism. Perhaps, secondarily, it was to prepare them for the coming destruction of Jerusalem.

My day didn’t go quite the way I had planned by it was okay. Went to the post office, credit union, and gas station. Did a little bit of writing and watched a movie in the evening.
