INDIANA CHANGES:

With Dan Burton announcing that he will not seek re-election in the District he has represented for years and Richard Lugar facing a stiff challenge for his seat in the Senate, Indiana representation is likely to change in a major way. At least four contenders will vie for the seat Burton now holds. Richard Mourdock has much Tea Party support and further support from those who are unhappy with Lugar’s record of Supreme Court Judge confirmation. It should be interesting.

OTHER STUFF:

Wednesday started with biscuits and gravy at Chick-fil-A. Jack and Helen came in as I was about ready to leave so we visited a bit. Did some writing, picked up my mail and went by the church to see Tyler. Had a welcome surprise call from my grandson, Jake and Brian left me a message while I was at church.
