LIBERTY LOVING LIBERTARIANS?
Linden has very little trouble with much of the Libertarian belief system…it is much like that of the Republicans in many respects. What he is concerned with at this time is the end result of these beliefs if taken to the voting booth. In plain words, a vote for the Libertarian candidate in the Presidential race or the Indiana Senatorial race is effectively a vote for Barack Obama or one of his strong supporters. The Libertarian candidate will likely achieve maybe 3% of the vote and this 3% could very well sway the vote away from the forces of evil if it had been given to the Republican candidate. One thing is now clearly etched in Linden’s mind: Governor Sarah Palin is clearly the class of the four who are involved in this contest and just may have the gumption it would take to steer John McCain out of the shoals that will face any leader of this great country. Actually, another thing is clear: Choosing a sitting Senator to be President is a bad idea with the only thing worse being choosing two of them as a team.

The high point of Monday for me was going to Danville to vote…this was the subject of yesterday’s blog posting. Other than doing a load of wash, the rest of the day was uneventful.
