SANTA CLAUS
Some weeks ago Rush Limbaugh mentioned the free gifts mentality of those currently administering federal programs…he referred to it as “Santa Claus.” Since then, many Republicans and others sadly referred to this as being highly undesirable rhetoric. What if it is true?? Not only should it be referred to often and loud, it should be trumpeted that much of this profligate spending is contrary to the wishes of THINKING taxpayers. Much of this problem could be rectified by spending reductions…after all, saving a billion one thousand times would equal most of our current deficit spending situation. After breakfast, I went to the post office and to a grocery. At lunch, I joined four of the guys from our youth ministry effort for pizza at Chicago’s. Good! In the evening, six of us went to Cumberland Christian Church for a CDCMF meeting…good food and Ozark Christian College President Proctor presented a very good message.
