SOME ELECTIONS CELEBRATED
Linden has lightly touched upon election day disasters: now, he will, just as lightly, touch upon a few of the many results that are true causes for celebrations. The first that comes to mind is the return of Michele Bachmann to serve in the House. Next may be the Texas election of Ted Cruz to the Senate. Tom Cotton of Arkansas was a welcome addition to the House. Here in Indiana we had Jackie Walorski win the 2nd District seat previously held by a democrat and Susan Brooks ensuring that the 5th District, House seat previously represented by Dan Burton, remains in the Republican fold. There are many other such causes for celebration scattered across the nation. Linden will continue to support all efforts to reduce needless spending. The White House is where a major reduction in discretionary funding should be addressed as the first of many worthwhile steps in that area.

MOSTLY ABOUT ME       lswift8@aol.com
Tuesday started with me dropping off my recyclables, picking up my mail at the post office, and going on to breakfast at Chick-fil-A. Later, did a load of wash, went to the post office again, and dropped by the church. I had dinner at the Legion in the evening then returned a phone call from Brian.
