SELECTING SENATORS
To change the direction in which our country is heading we must rid ourselves of our current President and cause the democrats to lose control of the Senate. If both of these things are not accomplished, Obamacare will not be repealed and our country will remain in a stagnant economic condition. For the Republicans to gain control of the Senate, they must retain all ten of their contested seats and win at least four of the 23 seats now held by democrats or their two Independent supporters.

In the most recent ratings by The Council For Citizens Against Government Waste 13 of the 23 democrats running for seats now held by that party are considered to be hostile to taxpayers, 5 waver between being hostile and unfriendly, 2 were rated as unfriendly, and 3 were not rated. Of the 10 Republicans running to protect seats controlled by that party, 4 were rated as being Taxpayer Heroes, 3 were taxpayer friendly, and 3 not rated. Of the 10 democrats running for these seats, 2 were rated at hostile to taxpayers and 8 were not rated. It would seem that if you are not a simpleton, not opposed to the foundations of our country, or willfully ignorant you will support the Republican Senatorial candidates.

MOSTLY ABOUT ME       lswift8@aol.com
Friday started with attendance at the Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00. In the afternoon, I went to the Judith Jackson Davis calling…she and the Jackson family lived across the street from my home about 25+ years ago. Enoch and Sam from Ghana moved into the Mission House.

Saturday brought the Men’s breakfast meeting at Chapel Rock CC. Later, talked to Brian and exchanged E-mails with Julie. Watched a very good and very close I.U. win in a football game.

Sunday brought church and Sunday school attendance and watching a Colts victory in a football game. Went to the church building fundraising dinner in the evening…it was very nice.
