ADDRESSING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
Surely we can agree that if something is illegal it should be vigorously opposed by the body that declared it to be illegal and, further, that it is not desirable to grant automatic citizenship to children of illegal immigrants. Addressing the matter of the large body of illegal immigrants now inhabiting our country, apparently blessed by those within our government who are responsible for attempting to enforce our laws. Including immigration laws. Now we citizens are being subjected to a barrage of information about creating new laws (patterned on the failed 1986 law?) to readdress previously failed policies. May Linden suggest a completely different approach? What if we solicited solution input to this baffling situation from a small number of those who are currently making the attempt to become legal citizens through the intricate steps our government bureaucrats demand. A small number from those within each year of the process (which sometimes lasts over ten years) combined with a small number from each year following the granting of citizenship could possibly provide thoughts completely new to those now attempting to address this problem. Regardless, enforcement of current law has to be the starting point.

Wednesday brought biscuits and gravy at Chick-fil-A followed by picking up my mail (junk) and resuming my current writing project. Had a nice talk with Brian also. The evening brought dinner and a study at church.
