I’M GOING RACING

Linden never said that every one of his postings would be political in nature and this one surely isn’t. I’ve had a special feeling for the Indianapolis 500 mile race, certainly since the days with the State Police when I was often assigned to work in that area. Wednesday, following up on these memories, I became an official Indy 500 Car Sponsor! It seems that a couple of enterprising young men decided to put together a Peoples Race Car effort and I, in a modest way, joined with what I hope will be thousands of others in that effort. If you wish to know more, inquire on cuttersrt on your computer. I just have one regret: a tee shirt will come to me and I ordered a men’s large…I should have ordered a women’s medium and then presented it to my elder granddaughter.

Wednesday was another nice day in Plainfield and I celebrated by not doing much other than picking up my mail. As mentioned above, I became one of the sponsors or the Peoples Race Car and had several nice phone visits. In the evening, I had dinner and attended a very good program at church.
