THE DAY AFTER:
Linden had unrealistic hopes for the four major elections which occurred November 3. He hoped for a Republican sweep of three races and that the Conservative would win the fourth.

By winning the New Jersey and Virginia Governorships he was assured of being happy with the two most important of the four races. The 10th District Congressional race in California was a very long shot, at best—and sure enough, we lost it. But the margin gives us hope for the future. The 23rd Congressional District in New York was expected to be close and it was—but we still lost. Hope for the future is warranted there.

When Sarah Palin endorsed Conservative Doug Hoffman for the New York seat, he was in a distant third place, behind the democrat and the extremely liberal republican nominee. Palin’s support helped him to knock the republican out of the race and to become a definite contender for the win. Good job Sarah!

The following link provides a better analysis than anything that Linden could write.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
My sleep failures led to me being a dead head all day. Met with my Study Buddy at 9:00 then went on to the credit union and post office. Had a doctor appointment after lunch. Back home, did a couple of small tasks at the Mission House, had a good meal and attended a good program at church. Almost fell in the dark as I returned home. Lucky me!
