LETTER TO THE EDITOR
In Linden’s opinion, his letter appearing below needed to be written. This posting will appear before he is aware of whether or not the letter will be published.

What he did not yet address is his increasing belief that complaints regarding shoddy reporting should be referred to major advertisers with accompanying threats of boycott. Probably soon. Letter follows:

DEAR EDITOR,

I believe Leonard Pitts earlier, followed by Eugene Robinson on Saturday, "Our Opinion" on Sunday, and Sheila Kennedy on Monday, each provided a good example of second rate journalism. Each failed to use the word "alleged" when referring to reported incidents of racist actions prior to passage of the "healthcare" bill.

If we are to believe widely available reports (which I do) that there is absolutely no evidence of these reported incidents happening and that a prize of $10,000.00 is offered for proof of some of these incidents having roots in fact, surely the word "alleged" belongs in those writings mentioned in paragraph one.

Could it be that Carson, Lewis, Pitts, and Robinson are some of those who could be correctly tarred with the racist label?

Sincerely,
--

Reaching out. I normally contribute modestly in a number of areas. Now I also contribute a portion of book sales income to this support. I also accept contributions for this effort. I was so pleased with the 2009 results that I’m expanding the effort in 2010. New or expanded recipients in 2010 include:

January, TCM, Austria, ministry scholarship. http://www.tcmi.org/
February, Hillsdale College. www.hillsdale.edu
March, African ministry. http://www.kissesfromkatie.blogspot.com/

The Book Nook, 33 E. Main, Mooresville is a local source of Linden’s books and CD.
