Thought to be one of the earliest prophets, Joel writes of a terrible plague of locusts that stripped the land.

Bad as this plague was, Joel warned of another judgment to come which would be more severe than the locust plague.

Hints of the coming of Jesus and the blessings coming to believers are also contained in this short book.

Dropped off recyclables on the way to the post office. Read, worked Sudoku puzzles, wrote a little, returned container that Kent brought full of green beans the other day to Donna and later she brought me another container of them that they had just cooked. I am blest.
