SEQUESTRATION: OBAMA’S BABY
Believing that most of those who hear his present sequestration related comments will never suspect that he advocated sequestration and signed the bill authorizing it. At that time, Obama did not believe that it would actually come to pass. Now it is here and he is whining about how unfair and damaging it is. In truth, it may be one of the few things he got right: any reduction in spending has it’s good points…although it is unfortunate that the military will suffer the largest share of any problems created. If, as is rarely reported, the actual cuts are simply in the rate of growth caused by baseline budgeting, it does not go nearly far enough. The link below takes you to evidence of Obama whining.
