ANWR

From time to time Linden has posted an opinion piece on the related subjects of global cooling, drilling for oil in The Artic National Wildlife Refuge, an incompetent congress, etc, etc.
A few days ago, Linden received a forwarded email from Bill Furman: It had originated, Linden believes, with Mutt Robinson. Mutt and his wife, Joyce, had flown into Prudhoe Bay about four years ago. The pictures that accompanied the email were not likely to cause the words ”pristine wilderness area” to come to mind. It certainly appears that the pictures which refer to it as such have to be labeled “false advertising.” They have to be planted by those opposed to drilling.
In the summer, it looks like an isolated swampy area and in the winter it looks too cold and isolated for even Santa Claus.
The email is much more descriptive than Linden will ever be: If you would like Linden to forward it to you, just ask and ye shall receive.
Tomorrow’s posting is expected to address this same general subject.
