DEBT DAY PLUS LIZ CHENEY
So much to do, so little time. Today, Linden will direct you to two sites that are worthy of your study.
In a Human Events column Brittany Smith reported on Sunday, April 26 being considered debt day – that day when total federal spending exceeds total federal revenue. For the rest of the year we are living on the federal charge card. Last year, debt day fell on August 5. Perhaps the “tax and spend” moniker given the democrats is more accurate now than ever before. The title of her column is “The Government Runs Out of Money on Sunday.”
Larrey Anderson on American Thinker presents “Liz Cheney Gives a Debate Lesson.” There is a link to a video of Liz and MSNBC’S Norah O’Donnell that is well worth watching.

LINDEN'S LIFE:
As mentioned in the Friday posting, Linden has some catching up to do today. Here goes:
Thursday: The usual enjoyable breakfast meeting with Bill, Chuck, Jack and Paul. Picked up some of the clutter so it would be easier for the house cleaner tomorrow. Did some writing. Called the heart doctor and had my blood pressure medicine dosage reduced.
Friday: Sandy came by to clean my place while I was at Men’s Prayer Breakfast: she was almost done when I returned. Nothing else of major importance.
Saturday: Joyce called to ask me to bring a copy of my latest book and of my CD to the Republican Lincoln Day Dinner tonight. It was a very good dinner and program. Dr. Tony Bennett outlined plans for improving the state of education in Indiana. Sandra Bettner and Matt Whetstone were name winners of the yearly Republican of the Year type selection. Those of us who were previous winners were recognized. I bought one of the poetry books Joyce had cause to be published and was selling to benefit the Indiana Federation of Republican Women. Good book, good evening.
Sunday: Attended church services and Sunday school and returned in the evening for a excellent pitch-in dinner and presentation by Bill Furman and Larry and Linda Bellville regarding their recent trip to Tavriski Christian Institute in the Ukraine. Interesting.

Linden’s book “BIBLE BASED PUZZLES” ($4.00) is a collection of 78 cryptograms, one or more selected from each book of the Bible. Answers are provided if you should become stumped.
The book “LETTERS TO GOD” ($4.00) is a collection of 53 real prayers written to address the needs of real people. After being written, they were kept in a Bible for about five years before being published. How these prayers were answered also appears, if known.
Now that Linden’s 2009 sales have financed two goats for some of the needy in the world, his next goal is to fund the purchase of a water buffalo. Order at:
