TAXES
Linden has long thought that our system of taxation is in trouble and becoming more troubling. Now, with our current “leadership” the unfairness of our taxation system will become more and more apparent. Why should there be such a high percentage of people who pay no income taxes at all? What does it say for our leaders when they will accept a tax cheat as Treasury Secretary? What does it say for these same leaders when a high percentage of those suggested to hold high appointive office are also tax cheats?

LINDEN'S LIFE:
It was a rainy and dismal day outside to the point that Linden, until afternoon, only went out to get the morning paper. Bill Furman brought some delicious food that Barbara had fixed: Ham, green beans, corn, Jello and really good cake. With this and the buffet with the Freidman’s on Easter Sunday, I may have a hard time returning to my own cooking. Bill also brought by some letters from those at TCI in The Ukraine that I did not have a chance to read Sunday. I sent those that were in Russian to Katia and she sent them back to me, translated into English. I am so blest!
